Help. I got laid off 8 months ago. I just got my first job interview. It os Friday. I am interviewing for a sales clerk job in a upscale dept. store. I used to work in a fast food restaurant, where wwe had to wear T shirts and black pants and safety shoes. I can't afford to buy anything new to wear, can't afford to have my hair , makeup. and nails done at the salon . I'm 40 years old and very overweight.. I wear glasses and my nails are short. I don't have any friends my size that i can borrow anything to wear from. In my closet, I have black twill Dickies type work pants, black jeans, black cotton capris, some black knit shorts, and 2 ankle length black skirts. One has a chiffon flowing layer over the top of some silky fabric, the other is velvet an pretty straight, with a slit up the side. I have a lot of T shirts, most of them black, some are plain and some have writing or pictures on them,
I have a couple of dressy sweaters with sparkle stuff throught them.
One is gold, the other silver and black. I have a low cut bright red satin blouse , and a very low cut purple satin halter top with sequins on it. I have some sweat shirts and sweat pants, too mostly black,
and a couple of denim jackets , and an old pink fuzzy fake fur winter coat. For shoes, I have black steel toed safety shoes, black western cowboy boots, black sneakers, and a pair of open toed , high heeled , strappy silver stilleto sandals, a gold pair just like them, and and a pair of red satin ballet type flats, and a pair of black satin open toe wedge type slippers with purple feathers and sequns on the top.
I can't even com close to fitting into my husbands old dress suit orany of his stuff, though his ties would work.

Help ! The interview is tomorrow and I dont know what to wear or how to go with what I ve got and pull it off. Any ideas......
By the way, I'm in Phoenix, AZ , we just moved here .

i say the lowcut satin red blouse and the cotton capris with the red flats and leave your nails there fine and your hair i say down and straight or curled witch ever looks best can you send me a pic of you then i could help with choosing your hair style my email is jessicarocksnewyork@yahoo.com

Well i`ll tell ya a little about myself,
I still live with the parents, witch is in the city, but we a lot of woods, in the yard, and i spend a lot of time out there building things. I have a riding lawn mower, i have a ATV i have a pick-up truck and a classic car from the 70`s, i love spending time out in the country, some family members live in the country. My girlfriend says i treat her like a "princess" Sometimes i skip school just to do work, i love to hunt and fish, i wear jeans, and a beer shirt with my jack Daniels hat, i wear boots when i do work outside, and that's all i can think of at the moment, but my question is do you think, i am a country boy, and i do plan to move out to the country soon as i get out of school.?

I got some western/cowboy boots at a garage sale for only and they are very slightly used. They are to small so I am going to re-sell them. I know they are worth more then , lol. I am wondering how much to sell them for as I have only ever had english paddock boots. They are size 8 1/2 womans, and are gray.

Look for a place called " Boot Barn". Cowboy boots are very expensive and really should be tried on by the person who is going to be wearing them

i wrote this for my grade 9 essay ...what do you think i tried my best and wrote from my heart.

There is lots of homosexual criticism all over the world. Some people think it is bad, disgusting or wrong. It is not, it is a way of life; the way of life that a certain individual wants to lead. We are not bad people and we still deserve rights. Unfortunately, that is not how it is working. People are being arrested every day just for being who they are. In places like Malawi, they are sentencing people up to 17 years just because they have found out that they are gay. At least we do not have to wonder why they "stayed in the closet." Now that people are coming out more and more straight people are fighting use. They call us names; they are trying to stop love with hate. It has been going on for decades, you would think by now people would be used to the idea. You would think that society would realize that LGBT people are not going away.
So many straight men are terrified of homosexuality. It just freaks them out to the point where even the thought of a rainbow in the room would put them in a state of panic. Well if they were not so insecure with themselves, they would realize accepting other people’s differences would actually make them more of a man. It seems like women are more excepting to the idea of homosexuality. As a bisexual girl, I have piles of friends that are girls and they are not afraid of me and think I will try to hit on them. One of my friends on the other hand is a boy, and he is gay. He has maybe three friends that are boys and the rest are girls. The majority of the boys in his class will not even come near him. As if they think, they can catch his gayness. It is not right.
Therefore, with all these people afraid of LGBT people no wonder there is criticism. No wonder there is cruel names being called out as one of us passes on the street; especially towards gay males. Some people say that gay males should not project themselves so much. I am not saying all gay males do just some. People say that they should not wear their scarves and pink pants; but that would like telling cowboys not to wear cowboy boots. It’s just who they are, it is what they want to show. It shows they are proud and not afraid of whom they are and what they want to be known as. I think people need to accept us just like they accepted Native Americans in to society or how they accepted African Americans.
Overall that is what I think needs to happen, just a little acceptance and there will be less criticism in the world. We can change one group at a time.

You really dont make a compelling arguement. Your only arguement is its a way of life, which is not an arguement because you can argue anything is a way of life. Then you go on about the difficulties they face which amounts to a pity party, and then compare it to the civil rights movement and indians struggles which you should never do because in this country there really is no comparison. Struggle does not equal validation. i can make the same arguement that you made for polygamy. Next time address the issues. Why do you feel this is wrong. Give tangible reasons and support them with facts and histories.
